Adjustable attenuator for balanced microphones PA applications and sound pick-ups where high microphone output levels are to be expected, sometimes need a smooth touch so that the input stage of the unit which is connected next does not overload. The user is doomed if the mixer or preamplifier does not feature any level adjustment at all for the incoming microphone signal. The MA-123 is the answer to these problems. It is simply connected between microphone and signal input stage. The attenuation can be switched in 3 steps: 10dB, 20dB, and 30dB.
Also suitable for balanced capacitor/electret microphones with phantom power.
