The CX-509 is an overhead microphone of the extra class with excellent sound characteristics.
The strong point of this microphone is the sound pick-up of hi-hats/cymbals as well as various percussion instruments. Acoustic instruments, e.g. like guitars/violins, flutes, or voices of a choir also benefit of the quality of this microphone.
The CX-509 allows an unobtrusive positioning due to the small dimensions.
The robust housing with integrated phantom adapter is also suitable for severe conditions on stage.
