Adjustable attenuator for balanced microphones
PA applications and sound pick-ups where high microphone output levels are to be expected, sometimes need a smooth touch in order to prevent an overload of the input stage of the following unit.
The user is doomed if the mixer or preamplifier does not feature any level adjustment at all for the incoming microphone signal.
The MA-123 is the answer to these problems. It is simply connected between microphone and signal input stage. The attenuation can be selected in 3 steps: 10 dB, 20 dB and 30 dB.
Also suitable for balanced condenser/electret microphones with phantom power.
